The Picodata development team is pleased to announce the release of Picodata 24.1, our core software product. It’s been just few months since our last release, yet the team managed to implement quite a lot of stunning new features of our distributed DBMS.
Here are the highlights:

picodata admincommand connects to an instance via unix socket under the admin account - New
picodata connectimplementation provides a console interface to the distributed SQL - New option
picodata run --shreddingenables secure removing of data files (snap, xlog). - New option
picodata run --logconfigures the diagnotic log. - New option
picodata run --memtx-memorycontrols the amount of memory allocated for the database engine. - Global tables now can be used in complex queries that include EXCEPT, JOIN, UNION ALL, WHERE … IN (SELECT…), GROUP BY
