Services

The Picodata core is open-source. The services below are commercial offerings on top — for teams that want operational support, a managed kickoff, or formal training.

24×7 technical support

SLA-backed support with defined response and resolution times. Escalations go straight to the engineers who wrote the code. Sold as a per-cluster subscription — write to hello@picodata.io for the SLA matrix and pricing.

Smart Start kickoff package

A managed kickoff that gets a team to first production faster — without having to learn every operational nuance up front. Typical scope:

  • Infrastructure sizing recommendations and configuration requirements.
  • Verification of allocated infrastructure with a conformity report.
  • Picodata installation, base role and access-rights configuration.
  • 32 hours of expert consultation.
  • A practical workshop for administrators.
  • A handover letter confirming the system is ready for production support.

DBA as a Service

Operational administration of a Picodata cluster, on demand. Coverage:

  • Backup and restore.
  • Proactive availability monitoring.
  • Cluster recovery after partial or full failure.
  • User and access-rights management.
  • Scheduled maintenance.
  • Capacity and resource management.
  • Cluster monitoring, problem detection, resolution.
  • Software upgrades.
  • Configuration change requests.

Turnkey delivery

For full end-to-end delivery — sizing, capacity planning, schema migration, performance tuning, post-integration operations — the Picodata team partners with integrators on a per-engagement basis. Open an issue on the Picodata GitLab or write to hello@picodata.io to start the conversation.

Training

The Picodata team maintains operations and development training for cluster administrators and application developers. Active university lecturers attend free of charge. For schedule and registration, write to education@picodata.io or join the Picodata Discord.

Migration methodology for Redis and Cassandra workloads is on the Migration page.
